Social Lipstick is a well-known social media agency that set out to revamp and create a fresh website in accordance with its initial brand standards while also achieving a polished appearance.

The Problem.

Social Lipstick came to us with a unique brand guideline and faced several challenges with their website. The website lacked user-friendliness and responsiveness, and it was burdened with multiple backend plugins, making the content management system almost impossible to use.

Through a three-phase approach to building and designing the website, we successfully crafted a site with a strong focus on SEO. What’s even more crucial is that we prioritised user experience, ensuring the website had a seamless and conversion-oriented design.

Modular Sections.

One of the standout features of the build was its modular sections, which offered a multitude of settings for the administrator. These settings included the ability to move sections, change colors, increase font size, and rearrange columns.

This build empowers the client with the flexibility to make changes without being constrained by predefined sections.

Effective Branding.

Working with Social Lipstick’s pre-existing brand guidelines posed a considerable challenge. The initial branding prominently featured the colour green, which clashed with the other colour elements.

Consequently, we made the decision to remove the green and experimented with colour reversals. This adjustment helped harmonise the overall colour scheme across each section, lending it a more polished and professional appearance.

With a strong social media influence, adding clear calls to action throughout the site has doubled conversions.

The website has a range of forms which provide clear intent, such as ‘Contact Us,’ ‘Influencer Sign Up,’ and ‘Careers.
